How to Play

Play Candy Match online for free. Candy Match is an endless connect 3 game themed after candies. Match 3 or more identical candies to remove them from the field. Keep playing for as long as you want. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - With your mouse, left click and drag to move the candy pieces.
  - Touchscreen devices
    - Tap and swipe on the candy pieces with your fingers to move them
    - Controls and indicators
      - The game’s controls and indicators are shown on the top row. From left to right, they are as follows:
        Score
        Speaker button: Turns the game’s audio on or off
        Pause button: Stops the game temporarily. You cannot make any moves while the game is paused.
        Home button: Exits the game and returns you to the welcome screen.
        Game Play
        Basic rules
        Form lines of 3 or more identical candy pieces to clear them from the field.
        Select a candy piece and drag it anywhere horizontally or vertically to move it.
        If it forms a line of 3 identical pieces, it will be removed from the playing field.
        Unlike other games of its type, there is no timer or move limit. Keep playing for as long as you want or until you run out of moves.
        Scoring
        Each candy piece is worth 10 points. The least you can earn from a single move is 30 points.
        Every line that forms after you move receives a combo multiplier.
        The base multiplier value is 2.
        Each time another set of lines form after those are cleared, the multiplier increases in value by 1.
        The multipliers keep stacking until no more lines are formed and you must make another move.
        It is best to make matches lower down on the board to create large chain bonuses as moves low on the board create lots of new intersections above them to align other sets.
        As you progress throughout the game it gets harder to create large bonuses because more candy types are added to the board.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like connect 3 matching items games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
