Play Lonely Skullboy online for free. Lonely Skullboy is a challenging 16-stage pixelated room escape game. Help Skullboy avoid spikes and dangerous clouds while grabbing power ups in the stages to reach his way to the exit portal to the next level. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the play button in the bottom center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Your web browser saves your game progress.
- The upper left corner of the welcome screen has a sound control button
- Game Controls
  - Desktop
    - Use the left arrow to move left.
    - Use the right arrow to move right.
    - Use the up arrow key or the spacebar to jump. Press twice to double jump (if you have it equipped.
    - Press the down arrow key when next to a wall to teleport through it & press the down arrow key to shoot bones at clouds (presuming you have either of these equipped).
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Use the onscreen controls.
        
        The level and right move buttons are in the lower left corner of the screen.
        
        The jump and special action buttons are in the lower right corner of the screen.
        
        This game requires some precision timed jumps, which can make it a bit easier on desktop computers with an attached keyboard than it is on touchscreen devices.
        
        Controls & indicators
        
        At the top center of the level it shows the current level number and which ability you have equipped.
        
        In the upper right corner there is a home button.
        
        The level select screen shows which levels you have unlocked.

        Levels
        
        This game has 16 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
        
        You can go back and replay previously beat levels.
        
        On the level select screen select the button for any unlocked stage and then select the START GAME button in the lower right corner.
        
        The goal of each level is to get to the blue and white warp portal at the end of the stage without dying.
        
        Special powers
        
        In this game there are 3 special powers you can equip: double jump, teleport, & shoot.
        
        Double jump – allows you to jump twice immediately, or jump once and then jump once more in the middle of your jump.
        
        Teleport – allows you to pass through a nearby wall. Some of these movements require precise timing so that you do not warp into a wall, warp into a set of spikes, or hit spikes trying to warp through a wall.
        
        Shoot – fires a bone in the direction you are facing. The bone can destroy nearby clouds.
        
        The power ups are equipped by running over the gray floating items.
        
        Dying
        
        If you run into any of the spikes or clouds you die.
        
        This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of the level where you died.
        
        Tips
        
        Sometimes you need to fall off platforms at an angle and then use the teleport rather than jumping off platforms, so that you can land in between the spikes.
        
        Sometimes when you jump you hit your head on the ceiling and it drops you down, ending your jump early & disallowing a double jump
        
        If you want your double jump to reach out a far distance wait until after you have started to descend from the first jump before jumping again.
        
        In some cases you need to jump partly and then readjust your jump while you are in midair.
        
        Levels are not timed, so if you are struggling on a level try to figure out a safe area in between the hard parts to rest and regroup before doing the next challenging part.
