Play Ancient Egypt Mahjong online for free. Ancient Egypt Mahjong is a timed 105-stage Mahjong Solitaire game where players must clear the stacks of identical open tiles one pair at a time until all stones have been paired off. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the Play button on the right side of the screen to bring up the level select screen.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including beat levels and level scores.
- Below the Play button are buttons for how to play Help, High Scores, and More Games.
- In the lower left corner of the welcome screen there is a language select dropdown.
- In the lower right corner of the welcome screen there are buttons for game controls, social media sharing, and reading game developer information.

    - Use your mouse left click button to select an open stone & then select an identically matching open stone.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Tap the screen with a finger to select an open stone & then select an identically matching open stone.

        Right rail controls
        At the top of the right rail the game has a full screen mode button.
        Next it shows your current level number, level score, and remaining level play time.
        Below that there are 3 buttons for pausing the game, taking a hint, and shuffling the tiles
        At the bottom are buttons to control game sound and music.
        Level select screen
        The level select screen shows how many points you scored and what your star rating was on each stage.
        At the bottom center the level select screen shows your cumulative game score.
        Game Play
        Stone matching
        Identical
        You can only match identical stones. Each stone contains hieroglyphic writing.
        You must match stones which show the same object, object color, and quantity on them.
        Open
        You can only match free or open tiles.
        A free stone is one that does not have any stones on top of it and at least one side (left or right) is free of adjacent stones.
        In this game open stones have a lighter background color, whereas stones that are not free have a darker grayed out background color.
        Autoshuffle
        When no valid open pairs remain the game automatically shuffles the remaining stones.
        This means at least one match is available at all times.
        Automated shuffles do not cost you points.
        Levels
        This game has 105 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
        You can go back and replay previously beat levels to try to earn a higher score on them.
        Your new score will only replace the old score if you score more points.
        Stones
        The first stage contains 16 stones, or 8 stone pairs.
        Later levels contain more stones.
        Level timers
        The first stage gives you 1:03 to complete it.
        Later levels are more complex and give you a longer time limit.
        You beat levels by removing all the stones before the timer reaches zero.
        If the timer reaches zero you can play the level again as this game offers unlimited continues.
        Scoring
        Your game score is cumulative across levels.
        Your level scores increase as you progress through the game as later levels have more stones on them and a longer time limit.
        Scoring points
        Each stone pair you match is worth 200 points.
        Each second you have remaining when you beat a level is worth 30 points.
        Spending points
        You can use up to 3 shuffles & 3 hints per level.
        Hints cost 200 points.
        Manual shuffles cost 500 points.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like Mahjong Solitaire tile match games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
